Damage Trump?  Really?

Trump hair vector

“They want to damage me so I can’t go back to work for you.  And I don’t think that’s going to happen.”
Donald Trump

We know the man is all but deranged, but doesn’t he realize he’s plenty damaged already?  He may be the most damaged man in America, with the possible exception of Alex Jones, Steve Bannon, and the late Bernie Madoff. (That Murdaugh dude down in South Carolina isn’t looking too good either, but we’ll have to see what comes out at trial.)

As of this writing, Trump is very likely going to be indicted . . .

In addition, prior to being elected president Trump already had a long history of unsavory conduct, including: ripping people off for a fake business school, “Trump University”; screwing investors and contractors out of multi-millions when his Atlantic City casinos went bankrupt (not surprisingly, a lot of Trump’s ventures go bankrupt); and of course, accusations of molestation and even rape by dozens of women (gentleman that he is, he’s on tape bragging about “grabbing them by the pussy.”) And during his business career, never mind during his presidency, Trump has had as many as 3,500 lawsuits against him, possibly a world’s record, who knows?  All this from a man who claims he’s “never done anything that requires forgiveness.” Presumably he has a very low standard of remorse.  If happily encouraging the murder of his own Vice President doesn’t require forgiveness, we can only wonder what does.

Trump and the Republicans Work for the Top 1%; All the Rest is Just Noise.

But what does “working for you” really entail?  Besides using his office to benefit his many real estate ventures (such as charging the Secret Service exorbitant rates at his DC hotel), when it came to governing Trump was nothing but a toe the line Republican, lowering taxes for big business and the wealthy, while doing nothing for the middle class.

The Republicans, of course, claim there’s no money for social programs and blame the Democrats for running up the federal deficit.  Isn’t it clear their entire philosophy of government is based on using the tax system to transfer wealth from the middle class to the top 1%?  It’s only a matter of time before they go after Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security, seemingly forgetting that much of their MAGA “base” depends on those programs to survive.  We should not be surprised if they are willing to watch their constituents starve and succumb to illness.  After all, thanks to Trump’s “big lie” and the coming of an army of Republican “election deniers,” they can steal as many elections as necessary, their loyal base be damned—and very likely dead.
